SSS Grant Award
Each year Student Support Services selects participants to receive a grant award during their first year at Cal Poly. The award amount varies depending on the number of factors including the "Unmet Need" in the applicant's financial aid package as well as the amount of loans a student may have been offered.
Eligibility
Grant Aid Recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an SSS student enrolled fulltime every quarter
- Must be a first year student
- Must have a PELL grant
- Must enroll in and complete one of the First Year Seminar courses: AGED 102, BUS 100, EDUC 125, ENGR 141, EDES 101 (with accompanying lab), or SCM 100.
- Must participate in the SSS LINKS Mentor program
A student who would like to be considered for SSS grant aid should complete an application form and send it to the Student Support Services Program in Building 124, Room 230.
Application deadline for 2007-2008 is September 1, 2007.
