Social Events

The CP Scholars program wants every student to feel welcome and included as part of he university community. In order to support students to build social relationships, collaborative skills, and relationships with diverse peers, the program offers a variety of social and team-building events.

Some examples of social events and mixers include:

  • The CP Scholars Fall Welcome Dinner, where new and returning Scholars have the opportunity to meet together for dinner, socializing and to learn more about the program.
  • Quarterly social mixers, such as movie nights, bowling, or a group outing to a Mustang athletic event.
  • Presentations about club, ASI, intramural sports, Greek Life, community council, and various extracurricular opportunities.
  • Opportunities for mentorship between new and returning Scholars.
