Academic Skills Center (ASC)
The Academic Skills Center (ASC) offers a variety of retention programs and campus support services including Student Success Seminars, Online Study Skills Library available 24 hours a day, Study Session Program and Tutor Referral Service.
Student Academic Services (SAS)
SAS offers many programs that provide students guidance, motivation, and academic advising. This position will be responsible for custom database applications that have been developed using FileMaker Pro and MySQL to support the services offered at SAS.
Student Support Servies (SSS)
We provide support services to low-income, first-generation, or disabled college students to enhance their academic skills, increase their retention and graduation rates, and facilitate their entrance into graduate and professional school programs.
Educational Talent Search (ETS)
ETS serves young people in grades six through twelve. In addition to counseling, participants receive information about college admission requirements, scholarships and various student financial aid programs.

Supplemental Workshops in Science (SWS)
Supplemental Workshops in Science provides qualified peer facilitators to lead bi-weekly discussion groups for lower division classes in the areas of biology, chemistry, physics and statistics.

Supplemental Workshops in Math (SWM)
Supplemental Workshops in Math hires and trains qualified facilitators to lead bi-weekly workshops for students who are enrolled in algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus courses.
The Cal Poly Supplemental Workshops in Math and Science are both intensive programs designed to help students better understand their math and science courses. It is funded through Student Academic Services and a California Lottery grant, as well as additionally supported by the College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly.
